Diving the Great Barrier Reef up close
Whether you’re an experienced diver or you've just completed your course, our days trips are the perfect opportunity to explore the magic of the Great Barrier Reef.
Diving the Central Great Barrier Reef
The Central Great Barrier Reef offers some of the most exhilarating dive sites in Australia. With access to a diverse selection of reefs, we select the optimal location on the day based on conditions, ensuring every dive delivers maximum visibility, comfort, and marine life encounters.
Some sites feature towering coral bommies that rise dramatically from the sandy seabed, creating natural pinnacles bustling with life. Others reveal intricate swim-throughs and coral canyons, where divers can glide alongside vibrant reef walls covered in hard and soft corals. Expect exceptional water clarity that brings every colour and movement into sharp focus.
Divers regularly encounter large schools of trevally and barracuda, along with an incredible diversity of reef species including parrotfish, Maori wrasse, clownfish, angelfish, and turtles. Reef sharks, both blacktip and whitetip, are frequent visitors, along with graceful stingrays cruising the sandy patches below. Every descent reveals a new layer of the reef’s complexity, making each dive uniquely unforgettable.
