MEET THE TEAM
As the founder and Managing Director of Adrenalin Snorkel and Dive, Paul has dedicated over 30 years to showcasing the best of the Great Barrier Reef. A qualified Master Reef Guide and passionate advocate for marine conservation, Paul is a driving force behind the company’s reputation for safety, sustainability, and unforgettable reef experiences.
With a background in diving instruction, eco-tourism, and marine education, Paul combines business leadership with a genuine love for the ocean. He has led the expansion of Adrenalin’s operations to include reef, wreck, and underwater art tours — and continues to champion responsible tourism across North Queensland.
When he's not managing logistics or mentoring the crew, you’ll often find Paul out on the water sharing stories, guiding dives, or keeping a close eye on reef health.
With a deep love for the ocean and over a decade of marine tourism experience, Nadine ensures everything behind the scenes runs as smoothly as a calm reef day. As our Operations Manager, she oversees logistics, crew coordination, safety standards, and guest experiences — keeping Adrenalin’s tours running on time and at top quality.
Nadine brings a strong background in dive operations, crew training, and eco-tourism, paired with a calm, can-do attitude that our team and guests alike truly appreciate. She’s passionate about the reef and thrives on delivering seamless, safe, and memorable marine adventures for all.
When she’s not wrangling tour logistics or fine-tuning procedures, you’ll likely find Nadine in the water, camera in hand, or exploring the wild corners of North Queensland.
Rob is one of Adrenalin’s most versatile crew members — an experienced divemaster, skilled skipper, and certified eco guide who brings knowledge, humour, and a steady hand to every trip.
With years of experience both above and below the surface, Rob is passionate about sharing the reef’s wonders while keeping guests safe, informed, and smiling. Whether he’s briefing divers, navigating to remote reef sites, or pointing out marine life with infectious enthusiasm, Rob’s love for the ocean is unmistakable.
Guests appreciate his calm approach, sharp reef knowledge, and genuine Aussie hospitality.
Kassie brings the best of both worlds to Adrenalin — supporting reef adventures behind the scenes and diving deep into the action offshore. As an eco guide and all-round organiser, she splits her time between the front office and the open water.
In the office, Kassie handles customer enquiries, bookings, trip logistics, and stocktakes plus she manages Eye on the Reef data and creates educational resources that help inspire our guests and team.
Out on the reef, you’ll find her guiding snorkel and dive tours, conducting surveys, and collecting data to support marine monitoring efforts. A diver since 1990, Kassie rediscovered her passion when she joined Adrenalin and now has over 240 logged dives.
She has a special love for the SS Yongala — especially at dawn — and thrives on sharing reef knowledge with guests. For Kassie, diving is more than a job — it’s soul food.
Originally from New Zealand and now based in Townsville, Caitlin is a certified PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor with a strong background in marine science and reef education. She joined the Adrenalin team in early 2025 and quickly became a valued part of both our dive and conservation efforts.
Alongside guiding snorkellers and training new divers, Caitlin plays a key role in our Eye on the Reef (EOTR) program. As the team’s EOTR survey coordinator, she helps keep our reef monitoring efforts on track — ensuring data is collected consistently and accurately across multiple sites.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology and is currently completing her Master’s at James Cook University. Her combined academic insight and hands-on dive experience make her a passionate communicator of reef science and sustainability.
Guests appreciate her friendly, calm approach and the way she brings reef stories to life. Whether she’s teaching skills in the pool or pointing out a camouflaged octopus on the reef, Caitlin brings clarity, care, and curiosity to every experience.
Originally from Tasmania, Katie brings international dive experience and a deep passion for marine education to the Adrenalin team. With a strong background in both teaching and guiding, she has worked across Thailand, the Maldives, and the Andaman Sea — including liveaboards, land-based centres, and dive operations of all sizes.
Now based in Townsville and studying Marine Biology at James Cook University, Katie is also a trained Eye on the Reef (EOTR) surveyor, contributing valuable reef health data as part of Adrenalin’s ongoing monitoring and conservation efforts.
With two years of full-time teaching experience and multiple PADI specialties, she’s known for her calm, supportive approach — especially with new or nervous divers. She’s passionate about making marine science accessible and fun, weaving reef knowledge and conservation into her teaching and guiding.
Brit’s journey to the reef started on the other side of the world — she discovered her love of diving while travelling Central America and hasn’t looked back since. After completing her Divemaster internship in the Caribbean in 2016, she made her way to Australia and has been a passionate PADI Dive Instructor since 2022.
Since joining Adrenalin, Brit has introduced thousands of guests to the magic of the Great Barrier Reef — whether teaching new divers, leading snorkel tours, or collecting reef health data as part of the Eye on the Reef program. Most recently, she added “Skipper” to her credentials, bringing even more versatility to the team.
Her calm, friendly presence and deep respect for marine life make her a guest favourite. If you ask Brit, nothing beats spotting a humpback whale — except maybe an octopus weaving through coral.
Daniel is a passionate dive professional who blends practical ocean skills with scientific insight. As a certified PADI Instructor and postgraduate student completing his Master’s in Marine Biology at James Cook University in Townsville, he brings both expertise and enthusiasm to every dive.
Working casually with Adrenalin while studying, Daniel is known for his calm approach, clear communication, and love for the reef. Whether teaching first-time divers or leading certified groups, he’s always eager to share his knowledge of marine ecosystems and conservation.
For Daniel, the highlight is seeing guests connect with the reef — especially when it’s their first glimpse beneath the surface.
Originally from France, Mathilde has called Australia home for the past seven years — and joined the Adrenalin crew in early 2024. As a certified professional diver with over 500 dives under her belt, she brings calm, capability, and a deep love for the ocean to every trip.
Her day starts early, preparing gear, loading tanks, setting up the dive deck, and welcoming guests aboard. Once everything’s ready, it’s onto her favourite part — diving! Whether supporting dive operations or helping guests in the water, Mathilde finds pure joy beneath the surface.
She started diving in 2019 and turned pro just three years later. Her favourite site? The iconic S.S. Yongala — where no two dives are ever the same.
She believes diving offers more than just adventure — it’s a powerful connection to the reef and a daily reminder of why we protect it.

Beyond instruction, he has led full-day dive trips, coordinated logistics for groups of all sizes, and contributed to community marine education projects. His experience facilitating youth programs and environmental workshops adds depth to his ability to engage guests and foster a meaningful connection to the reef.
Now part of the Adrenalin crew, Damián continues to deliver transformative reef experiences — with professionalism, patience, and a genuine love for marine life.
