We operate 2 dive vessels: 'Adrenalin' for day trips and ''Sea Esta'
for overnight trips. A short description of each:
 'Adrenalin':
is a 14m flybridge cruiser. It is comfortable, stable, and is fully
fitted out for diving, including a custom dive platform.
' Sea Esta': Our purpose built 17m dive boat with its large dive
deck and ample recreation and relaxation area, gives you room to
move when not in the water or discovering Wheeler Reef’s amazing
coral cay.
Your airconditioned cabin makes the ideal place to take some time
out to read a book or take a nap, or watch a DVD in the saloon.
Perhaps just kick back and relax on the top deck.
Both with a maximum of just 20 passengers you won’t find
the usual hustle and bustle of larger carrying vessels.
Few other operation travels through the night, further out to sea,
to find pristine, often untouched sites to offer our guests a truly
unique reef ECO experience.
Our friendly, knowledgeable, shop and reception staff are always
on hand and ready to assist you with any questions you might have
regarding your trip, accommodation or travel.
Our sales staff are only too willing to share their expertise with
you, to help in purchasing from our comprehensive range of equipment,
clothing and accessories, should your need arise.
Your hire equipment is maintained and serviced to manufacturer's
recommendation and Government regulations.
Adrenalin Dive is a PADI dive facility situated in Townsville, a
rapidly expanding city in the state of North Queensland, in Australia.
Townsville is situated on the waterfront, with Magnetic Island just
a 20 minute trip by fast boat.
Adrenalin Dive commenced operating in Townsville in 1987. Originally
trading as Sun City Watersports, a commitment to quality dive training,
dive trips, and the protection of our environment has established
us in the dive industry.
Adrenalin Dive specialises in day and overnight trips to the wreck
of the SS Yongala, and Wheeler Reef. Both sites are situated within
the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
Because we are committed to protecting our natural environment,
our day trips are ECO Certified by ECO Tourism
Australia.
Owned and operated by divers, for divers, Adrenalin Dive is a founding
member of SPRAY (Society for the Protection of Reef And Yongala),
and has developed as a leader within the dive tourism industry due
to a strong commitment to quality, safety, our environment, and professional
service. Adrenalin Dive is Townsville's longest established liveaboard
provider.
Day trips to the Yongala wreck or Wheeler Reef depart from Townsville
and Magnetic Island.
